My name is Andie Frost. My mum still calls me Andrew from time to time. My friend started spelling my name with an ie when I was in my teens so I didn’t get muddled with the other four Andy’s in my youth group – and it’s stuck!

I’m married to Sue and we have three sons: Josh (16), Dan (10) and Stevie (6) and we have lived in North London since 1993. I have been working with n:flame in secondary schools since 1999 and Sue works as a LSA in a local primary school. We are about to move from Edmonton to Haringey as we feel it is important to be part of the territory where we are working and we are part of Lifeline Community Church.

In 2003 God put it on our hearts to move to Haringey and focus on working in the borough’s secondary schools. This call was recognised by Pray Haringey and since November 2004 the Haringey Christian Community Trust has been sponsoring this work.

The vision I have for Haringey is that in all the secondary schools there will be an active Christian witness at three levels:

· Where students will be meeting to pray for their school and fellow students, so that they become bold in their witness and see many coming to Christ

· Where Churches are actively praying for their local schools and become involved in supporting and working with that school

· Where people from churches across Haringey come together to work in the boroughs schools working with staff, where there is a need and where their talents and skills can be used, to bless the schools through teaching, mentoring or whatever means so that by word or by actions the good news is declared.
